What are hotcakes?

Hotcakes are flat, usually round, cakes made of dough from different degrees of thickness and spoon or acquisition of dough to a hot pan or grate. Sometimes they are also called pancakes, they are a common type of food around the world and can usually enjoy any food. They can be spicy with the addition of herbs and spices, also with cooked vegetables or similar ingredients, or are sweet adding fruit, maple syrup or chocolate chips.
