What are the cakes whoopia?

Depending on whether it is called Bob, Gob, Black-and-and-White, Big Fat Oreo® or BFO, many people believe whowoopie cake is a spectacular sweet treatment. This American baked good is a cross between the cake and the cookie, with a little thrown cake filling. Several areas claim to be the birthplace of Whoopia Pies, but many people believe it was Amish, a religious group in Pennsylvania that originally made this dessert. Between them is a fluffy, whipped cream, white filling. Although chocolate is a traditional flavor for these biscuits, it is also possible to make flavors such as oatmeal, peanut butter, banana and pumpkins. A fluffy chocolate full of sandwiches between two vanilla biscuits is often referred to as a reverse cake. Moat, combination of egg, oil and sugar is usually defeated until it is smooth. To this mixture is flour, cocoa and edible soda mixed together with milk and vanilla. This dough is then lowered in thin circles on a cookie leaf and baked for a few minutes.

Although it is not exactly known where they come from whoopia cakes, Amish of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, this invention is usually credited. One story tells of women who cares cakes for their husbands, who, when opening their lunch boxes and vision of tasty treaties, called "Whoopia!" Another and perhaps more credible version of this story tells of the children that shout in joy when they have found WHOOPIE PIES for lunch.

Lancaster County organizes Whoopie Pie every year. Maine, which claims that this sweet confectionery was created there, also organizes the festival every year in honor of Whoopia Pie. The other noParts of New England are also trying to say to whoopia cakes. Many historians, however, believe that this treatment most likely originated sometimes during a large depression and a modern version is a hybrid of a number of recipes.
