What is cooking?

The cooking range is a stove with a space for cooking several different things at a time. Technically, only the upper part of what most people call the stove. This flat part of the stove usually contains a number of flat heating elements or cooking surfaces, either gas or electric. The ranges can be combined with furnaces or configured separately. Some manufacturers consider the range of cooking and oven to be two separate units, but others will refer to the entire combination of the top of the chefs and the oven as a range.

Heating elements in the cooking range are used by electric or natural gas heating elements. Electric heating elements, sometimes referred to as coil burners, are made of heat -resistant alloy composed of nickel, chromium and steel wire, covered with magnesium oxide (MGO) with high temperature and vagina made of stainless steel. Some peaks of electric cooking consist of a smooth layer of tempered glass that obscures electrical heating elements. Gas ranges of powered gases use a departmentMade, sealed burners with gas under iron grates to hold pots and pans.

Some top and professional stoves and commercial cooking ranges also offer other options for cooking surfaces such as grate, charbroiler or French peak. Griddle is a flat, iron plate that is heated and used for cooking or frying foods such as pancakes, bacon and eggs. Charbroiler is a barbecue surface with elevated edges and the heating element below. It produces dark straight lines observed on grilled foods. The French peak is heavy, flat, steel plate on top of cooking, usually measuring about 24 inches (about 61 cm) square, with a gas burner below it.

ranges are available in almost any configuration from a single electrical type of coil or gas burners to commercial cooking with eight or more combined with Griddle, Charbroiler, French top or PEce. The range can be attached to the stove and sold as one unit, combining the oven and range. Some are built into the board. A portable cooking range is a separate cateon unit that can be powered by gas or electricity.
