What is the Navy's physical fitness test?
The physical fitness test of the Navy (PFT) is a fitness test that the Navy gives twice during each fiscal year. It combines the physical readiness test and the evaluation of the body composition. The test measures endurance, flexibility and aerobic capacity of the Navy staff. Staff and midfielders of active service and midfielder are obliged to pass both parts of the Navy's physical fitness test to comply with the Navy requirements.
There are several parts for performance assessment, including push Up, Curl Up, Sit-access and 1.5 miles (2.41 km). The sailors have two minutes to complete as many curl ups or sit as possible. They also have two minutes to finish as many clicks as possible. Sit-Reach is a test of flexibility in which the sailor sits on the ground and touches his fingers on his feet. Alternatively, sailors can be able to swim the set distance or use an elliptical machine instead of running. It is a standard physical test used in other sectors of the US government and coercive organs.
The required measurement of performance depends on the age and sex of the sailor. The score falls into five performance categories: excellent, excellent, good, satisfactory and testing. There are three subcategories in these assessments: high, medium and low. To be a graduate, every sailor must achieve "good (good)" assessment or higher to test the physical fitness of the navy. After the boot camp, the sailors must complete the physical test using a "satisfactory (middle) rating or higher.
The score of the Navy's physical condition is determined by the diameter of the point values of each test result. If they do not undergo a minimum standard for the fitness test, sailors are not eligible for promotion, progress or frocking. They may regain the eligibility to hand over the monthly false evaluation of physical fitness as certified by the leader of the Command Fitness. If a sailor fails in three assessmentsThe physical fitness at the age of four, must not pass the examination for promotion until it overcomes two consecutive PFTs before the next exam plan.

Requirements are based on age and sex. Sailors who are considered overweight are obliged to enter the weight loss program. They can also be eligible for promotion, training and tasks of volunteers and are not eligible for the list.
