What is barbari?
Barbari is a type of flat bread made in Iran. Together with Sangak, another type of Iranian flat bread, it is a popular meal feature and is often served with curry, cheeses and other dishes. Yeast bread is made of white flour, so it is fluffy and light in the texture. Many people compare Barbari with Naan, another type of flat bread, which also comes from Asia. Bakeries, which specialize in Persian specialties, can carry barbari and is also relatively easy to make at home. Barbara is a native of Afghanistan who probably brought a recipe for bread to Iran in the 17th century. Bread has quickly become popular in Iranian cuisine and the name attributes to the original developers. Bread is a key part of dinner in Iran, along with herbs, cheese and spices such as cucumbers and freshly chopped cucumbers.
A formal Iranian dinner may include several breads. Barbari is recognizable because it has roughly oval shape and very thick. Every dinner takes from a tray or basket from bread cellsBarbarri, because the bread is made up of small personal loaves. Traditionally, the barbari is baked in a stone or brick furnace over fragrant forests, which creates a crunchy layer at the bottom of the bread and gives it a rich flavor of coal.
If you want to make barbari at home, combine a pack of yeast with one cup of warm water and one teaspoon of sugar. Allow the yeast mixture until the foam is before the addition of two cups of warm water and one teaspoon of salt. Slowly start to start mixing the flour into the mixture. You may need eight or more cups of flour to achieve the right consistency. When the dough is soup, add four tablespoons of oil or molten butter and continue to add the flour until the dough starts with the bowl.
Turn the dough onto the floured board and knead it until smooth and elastic. Lightly summon the barbaric dough and place it on a dark, warm place covered with a towelem for four hours. Burnt the dough down, turn it and cover for another two hours. When you are ready to make individual pieces of Barbari, divide the dough into 12 pieces and create them in oval flat loaves.
Preheat the oven at 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius). Create barbaric loaves in corn icing to bother their DNA, and put them on a cookie leaf, slightly sprinkled the peaks with sesame seeds and push down to equalize the loaves and give them texture.
