What is Chikowa?
Chikowa is a type of processed seafood product that always comes in the shape of a tube, and sometimes called Japanese fish tube . This fish cake has a rubber texture and salty, fish taste. The word chikowa means bamboo ring , which resembles the product. It can be eaten as a snack separately or used in various recipes of soup and fry.
