What is the chin?
chin is a fried snack that is popular in West Africa. It is most often associated with Nigeria, one of the countries of this region. The most common form of chin is a square type, although there are several forms of refreshments. First, dry ingredients are mixed together in a bowl. Nigeria includes a particularly sophisticated form of cutting thin long strips of dough and the production of each chin by connecting two strands to form a shape of a similar rope, with both ends. This is much more demanding than simply cut into square shapes. The square type is the most common form not only because it is the easiest, but because it is more erasing to eat too.
You can find this meal in several places. In West Africa, people usually buy them from street sellers and outdoor markets. Outside the region, in countries where there are considerable communities of West African immigrants such as the United States and inElk Britain, chin can be found in supermarkets. It is also especially popular refreshments during the wedding or parties.
