What is a creamy sauce?
Smetan sauce is a spicy dressing that is commonly used on pasta, chicken and fish dishes. Because the main ingredient in the sauce is cream, it is usually white. Some creamy sauces that contain cheese are deeper yellow or even slightly orange. Sometimes the cream sauce is made of tomatoes and the resulting sauce is spicy but slightly spicy sauce that has a pink color.
