What is Dahi Puri?
, also known as Dahipuri, Dahi Puri is Indian snacks, which are often sold by street sellers. Savory Street food, or chaat, is a small fried cloud of flat bread filled with yogurt and a combination of vegetables and spices. Healing is sometimes served in restaurants and is a popular social food, especially in the Indian state of Maharahtra.
Unlike the popular Indian food Mrs. Puri, Dahi Puri is less intense in taste, with less spices. For this reason, it is a popular food with children and those with weaker stomachs. The typical portion of Dahi Puri includes five to six cloud -art at the top of the chef. Because they include a mixture of yogurt, they are usually served with sauce. Dahi Puri is usually the last meal consumed during street meals.
Dahi Puri is comfortable easy to prepare and can be assembled before a party for simple gathering and cooking. Many Indian households keep curd or ordinary yogurt at hand like a terminal, which makes this food still dmore sharp for household chef. As with most other foods, the base of treatment is first prepared with yogurt mixed with sugar. Yogurt should have a uniform consistency without being too thin or fat for the best results.
Cooking places a small hole in the upper part of each Puri or round flat bread. This creates a hollow cloud to be filled with the rest of the ingredients. Then add a small amount of boiled potatoes, chickpeas and other foods and spilled with sweet yogurt or cottage cheese. Sweet chutney is commonly added, as well as green chutney. Vegetables such as tomatoes or onions are then added as needed.
You can add a wide range of spices as needed. Chaat Masala, a popular herbal mixture used to flavor fast food in India, is usually used to decorate a cloud or to flavor along with the rest of things. Some herbs found in chaatMasala includes ginger, coriander and cumin. Many other spices such as chilli and asafetide are also usually included. Salt and pepper are also added.
To be aesthetically pleased by Dahi Puri, many chefs placed a crushed Sev or crunchy graham flour and before serving the served leaves of fresh coriander. Some also include Moong Dal or mung beans as a decoration. Many inner ingredients such as cottage cheese and chutney are also commonly used to decorate the bowl.
