What is the freezer combustion?

When food comes from a freezer with dry areas, stains of coloring and ice crystal formation, it is said that it has a freezer burning, sometimes considered a "freezer". Although this phenomenon is unsightly, it does not affect food safety and can be burned with food that has been burned. However, it changes quality and seriously affected food can be tasteless or has a clear metal taste.

The freezer burns are due to the exposure to the air and the subsequent loss of moisture. If the food is poorly packed in the freezer, the water molecules in the diet begin to infuse and leave dry places that can be colored. As water molecules rise to the surface of food, they tend to form dense areas of ice crystals.

Several things can minimize freezer burns. The first step is to keep the freezer as skilled as possible. Volatile temperatures can contribute to problems, especially if the food is not as cold as it can start to start, as well as the transformation of the freezer. All meals also eventually have alive in the freezerthe anteability. Freezing something can significantly reduce the time required to damage, but this process does not completely stop. While the freezer burn is not harmful, leaving food is too long and a seriously burned food could survive its freezing life.

Finally, make sure you wrapped your food well before freezing. If the food is stored in plastic containers, make sure the eyelids are cozy and solid, and try to push as much air as possible. Some people like to hold wax paper to the top of the plastic container before they seal it for freezing to further reduce the air in the container. If something is packed and frozen, push out all air from the bag and make sure it is firmly sealed. If you are unsure, wrap the double meal to ensure that it is airtight.

If a package of frozen food burns the freezer, you can cut off the area before cooking. Be aware that food may have lost as a resultAtit some taste, and that you may need to taste more than you would normally. Taste the food while cooking and adjust the flavors as needed.
