What is Kalua Pig?

Pig Pig is a Hawaiian food that is slowly produced by the roasting of the pig in the underground pit. The traditional Kalua pig is only flavored with salt, which allows the taste of pigs and vegetation with which it is buried to mix, creating a very rich smoke taste that many people consider very pleasant. Some people also use the term "Kalua Pig" to indicate any pig pig, whether the pig is prepared in a traditional underground oven. The pig is wrapped in vegetation and lowered in a hole and then the whole pig is buried for five or more hours to slowly bake it. When the pig is carried out baking, it is detected, removed and served. The meat tends to be very tender and juicy, due to the packaging of vegetation that keeps the pig wet during the cooking process.

The underground oven used to produce pig Kalua is known as IMU and this cooking technique can be found in many parts of the South Pacific. It is especially SPOJENA with the Hawaiian Luau, a large and festive party that can contain a range of food along with music and dance. Since the list of guests in Luau is often large, the whole pig can be a useful party and ensure that everyone gets enough to eat at the party.

Because baking the whole pig is a lot of work and creates a lot of meat, some people like to produce a puddle of a pig with a part like a pork arm, instead of the whole pig. If IMU is considered too much work, the pig can be baked in the oven or cooked in a cracks to achieve the desired slowly cooked taste. When the pig kalua is not made in IMU, many people like to add liquid smoke to indicate a taste that would develop by baking a pit.

You can also hear the Kalua Pig known as Kalua Pua'a in Hawaii, a term that translates as a "roast pig". In addition to the pig can be prepared in IMU other meals, including fish and other cultures, have similar cooking techniques that are used to prepare things,Like moss, the North African lamb bowl. While the preparation of these meals takes time for slow cooking, some consumers feel that the time is worth it when one is considering the resulting taste.
