What is organic coconut oil?
Organic coconut oil is derived from coconut nuts grown without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers and which are processed without the use of ionizing radiation or artificial ingredients. One day there was a misconception that coconut oil was unhealthy due to its anticipated cholesterol properties. However, it was found that such findings were based on the use of hydrogenated coconut oil, not organic coconut oil.
The process of hydrogenation-theme of liquid vegetable oil to a solid or semi-solid fat-creates trans fatty acids (TFA). TFA enters cell membranes and block the use of essential fatty acids (EFA) and interferes with a healthy cell function. TFA does not naturally occur in organic coconut oil. Lauric acid forms almost half of fatty acid in organic coconut oil. Once converted to monolaurine in the body, uric acids have the advantage that they negatively affect bacteria, yeasts and so -called wrapped viruses. Lauric acid, primary componentHuman breast milk, helps to protect infants from the disease during their first months. Studies take place usefulness of lauric acid from organic coconut oil in the treatment of AIDS.
Independent studies in the United States and abroad have shown the effect of coconut oil to prevent heart problems such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Unlike other vegetable oils, coconut oil in its organic form does not lead to increased lipids with low lipid density (LDL). In fact, it reduces arterial injury and thus helps to prevent atherosclerosis (inflammation of arterial walls). Other benefits for health have also been shown that organic coconut oil helps the absorption of calcium, which plays a role in bone strength and tooth health. The efficiency of liver, kidney health and digestion benefits from adding organic coconut oil to the diet.
