What is POUTINE?
POUTINE (pronounced Poo-Teen) is a food consisting of French fries ending with cheese curd and hot sauce. It is originally from Canada and little known in the rest of the world, although some restaurants in other countries have a pilgrimage. POUTINE is similar to American Cheese or "disco fries" fries.
Pounda came from Quebec, Canada at the end of the 50th year and is now popular throughout the Eastern Canada. Several communities in the province claim to have created a pilgrimage such as Drummondville and Victoriaville. The most popular story is that the pilgrimage was created in a small eastern Quebec restaurant owned by Fernand Lachance. Lochance offered special teaching consisting of French fries and cheese curd mixed in a plastic bag. In 1957, the truck driver ordered a bag of fries with a sauce side dish, threw the sauce into the bag and ate them together.
Origin of the word poutine is the source of some debate. The word pudding , as it has been in the Canadian French dictionary of Oscar Dunn since the end of the 19th century with this definition. Some natives of Quebec believe that pipeline has evolved from the Proven Word pipes , translated as "Bad Stew". The word pilgine began as an academic slang for a crazy mess and was first used to name academic food, pilgrimage of rape - a mixture of potato potatoes, pork and spicy sauce.
POUTINA has only three ingredients, but experts say that many subtleties are involved in proper food preparation. French fries should be made of potatoes that are hand -cut and fresh, and should be fried in a clean plaster, unlike vegetables or other oils. The sauce, also known in Canada as a barbecue chicken sauce, is darker and stronger than the sauce in America or other countries and MUSBI have to serve very hot.
cheese used in the pilgrimage is fresh white cheese Chedar cheese, which has a different taste and texture than real cheese. These must be completely thawed, but fresh and then served on the fries before adding a sauce whose temperature helps to melt the cheese. The pilgrimage should be served in a bowl, helping to reduce the mess and keep the mixture hot.
POUTINA is popular enough in Canada to offer some of the best restaurants in the country in addition to pubs and guests, as well as many multinational franchises such as McDonald's. Pope is only available in a few restaurants in the northern United States and in a handful of hotels and pubs in Europe and Asia.
