What is probiotic yogurt?

yogurt is a creamy, fermented dairy product. Probiotic yogurt is any yogurt that contains living active bacterial culture. Most natural or common yoghurt is probiotic. Normal portions of yogurt contain billions of bacteria that many people consider to be beneficial to the body. Research has shown that bacteria in yoghurt can affect a human digestive system - which naturally contains trillion bacteria themselves - but how beneficial probiotic yogurt is for human health since 2012.

When yogurt is produced, bacterial cultures are added to the milk and sugar in milk is transformed into lactic acid. Little acid then reacts with protein in milk to provide yogurt with a strong creamy texture. Milk acid is also what causes yogurt to taste cake or spicy. Most yogurt is combined with one or more flavors, usually fruit flavors. Different watering and other foods such as berries or granola may be laid or mixed into yoghurt.
