What is the creole shrimp?
Shrimp Creole bowl is seafood with tomato sauce, which is usually served on rice. Creole is an American cuisine that was created in South Louisiana, although its influences include French, Spanish and Indian. Creation of the creole shrimp usually begins with the formation of a roux, a mixture of butter or vegetable oil and flour, and then adding vegetables such as celery, onion and hot or sweet peppers. When the vegetables softened, tomatoes, supply or water and other spices are added and at the end of cooking the shrimp and herbs are integrated.
This typically southern meal is an example of how the settlers in South Louisiana used locally available ingredients in combination with the styles of cooking their home countries to create a new kitchen. The start of a bowl with Roux flour and butter is a traditionally French cooking technique used to produce this Creole bowl. Roux is produced by heating butter in a pan until it is drunk and then adds a flour and cooking together to form a thick paste. Roux would have mallowed to brown but not burn. After the Roux has been cooked for a long time, vegetables can be added.
Vegetables, which are most common in shrimp, include garlic, onion and green pepper, all of which are clamps during cooking creatures. Other versions could include edges, green onions and herbs such as coriander or parsley. The most traditional version of this recipe can be easily changed with any ingredients that the chef has at hand and likes it. After the vegetables are added to the roux, it should usually be roasted until they are softened and slightly roasted to develop color and taste.
