What is Somloi Galuska?

Somloi Galuska is one of the more ocular Hungarian long list of tempting native sweets, localized versions of the global favorite. It may not have a delicacy of small aprosetemen biscuits or the complexity of the layered cake Stefania, but for these shortcomings it is straightened with a pile of cakes with angel food in at least several different flavors. It holds it all together, a tiny style, is cream for cream or pastries, rum syrup, raisins and nuts. Chocolate sauce and whipped cream accumulates at the end for greater interest and taste.

coming from Somlo, a wine region in the northwest of Hungary, Somloi Galuska literally means "somlo's dumplings" in Hungarian. Dumplings refer to pieces of angel food cake in alternative flavors. Some chefs use two usual flavors such as simple and walnut angel food or walnut and cocoa. Others combine all three and even more if ambitious. Cakes are purchased from Bakeries or Make From Scratch, UsualE with eggs, sugar, cake flour and salt. Individual flavors are created with simple additions such as nuts, cocoa powder or even citrus bark.

When an angel food cake is cooked, the chef will have to publish several additional objects such as pastries, with milk, vanilla, water, gelatin, eggs and sugar. Several different cream recipes are readily available, while Vanilla Custard is the most traditional for Somloi Galuska. Upon completion, this pudding is earmarked, while the chef produces syrup from rum, sugar and some citrus bark, which slightly reduces it in a pan over a low heat.

Once the inner layers of Somloi Galuska are prepared, it is time to assemble it for final cooling. In a deep bowl - glass offers aesthetically pleasing effect - the first taste of the cake is chosen as a basis, followed by brushing rum syrup, liberal layering of pudding and sprinkling RozinsKu and nuts. Another type of angel dining cake is laid and the order is repeated until the bowl is full.

After cooling in the refrigerator, Somloi Galuska is ready for her details. Using a large spoon or ice cream, the chefs accumulate a layer of little things on a plate. It is limited by some whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Chocolate syrup purchased in the store is sufficient; Traditional Somloi Galuska, however, requires further help rum in chocolate sauce, which is best drizzled when it is warm.
