What is tamarind?

Tamarind is a fertile tree originating from Africa and broadly planted around the world, especially in Latin America and Asia. Fruits are used as food crops and as an aromatic component in a wide range of food, especially Latin American and Asian cuisine and pre -wrapped snacks.
