What is Tasso?
TASSO is a type of pork or meat used in the kitchen in Cajun style. Although it is often referred to as TASSO HAM, it is not technically ham. TASSO is made of pork shoulder instead of traditional pork shoulder foot. This smoke pork arm is usually used as a component in a bowl -style bowl such as rubber, jambalaya or even breakfast saucepan. TASSO is highly spicy with the spices of cajun and it is relatively difficult to get outside Louisiana. While everyone has their own special touch, typical elements include kosher salt, brown sugar, onion powder, bobs, cloves and spices. Pork is then left to cure for about four hours until it is ready to wipe the spices of the cajun. The Fprášek is made from the Sassafras tree leaves. This spice is Creole and usually occurs throughout Orleans and Louisiana.
Other ingredients for somewhat sweeter, Tanger Rub may include granulated sugar, honey and nutmeg. The meat is then smoked up to 48 hours with thisspices, allowing the spices to be filled with meat. The end product is medium spicy, slightly spicy and very smoke meat.
relatively solid and often cut into pieces or slices, Tasso is used in traditional Louisiana recipes such as rubber, jambalaya or red beans and rice. Because it is quite oily and comes from a muscle area that is often used by a pig, this spicy piece of pork is quite tasty even without the addition of spices. Like ham, there is a pink color with darker edges. It is often sliced as thin as pancetta or lunch, otherwise it is a cube. It adds colorful, tasty kick for any dishes, from breakfast to dinner.
When using as a basic appetite, such as jambalaya, Tasso is accompanied by other ingredients such as chicken, and and and tomatoes, seafood, such as shrimp or medicines, rice and supply. In some orAdech can be used instead of Tasso or smoked sausage or even crumbling chorizo, where the pork arm is not available.
