What is tex-mex?
Tex-mex is a popular kitchen that came from a combination of authentic Mexican and Spanish dishes prepared in Texas style. Waverly Root and Richard de Rochemont from eating in America describe Tex-Mex as "native foreign food". The term "tex-mex" will first appear in the press in the 40th century, although it was undoubtedly used some time before. According to historians, this commonly described everything that was influenced or derived from Texas and Mexico, and necessarily had a positive connotation.
