What is Power Plate®?

Power Plate® is a vibrating platform that gives the body high -speed exercises. It uses vibration to stimulate muscles to download and relax much faster than usual during other forms of exercise. It is said that it offers the same benefits in ten minutes as an hour of conventional strenuous training and is considered an advantage for those who do not have much time to exercise. The advantages of the exercise program include weight loss, lowering cellulite, improved circulation and more effective removal of toxins from the body.

Power Plate® makes the muscles download 30 to 50 times per second, while normally downloading only once or twice a second during other strenuous training sessions. Many muscle groups are activated simultaneously, which increases the efficiency of a short but intense session on the platform. Power plates can be set between 25 Hz, which is better for strength, balance and core training, 50 Hz, which is best for massage and stimulating circulation.

Beginners of the program is recommended to be limited to about nine minutes of resistance program and at the same time to the subsequent program, which includes stretching, massage and relaxation, all on Power Plate®. About a minute for each exercise is usually sufficient, especially for beginners. Calorie Burn and better training reaction are achieved if the program contains different types of exercises such as those that use more than one muscle group, such as push-ups and insulating exercises such as bicecake curls. The correct attitude is necessary because muscle tension is required if maximum results are to be achieved. Prevention of undue joint shakes is achieved by maintaining knees slightly bent during the Power Plate® session.

The

advantages of the power plate include weight loss, better circulation and reducing the appearance of cellulite. Combinations of vibrations and diet of the whole body can result in longer -term permanent weight loss. Studies have also shown that the use of Power Pads® increasesIt density of bone minerals and increases muscle strength. This is particularly interesting for the aging population, because it has been shown that this type of training is a safe method of strength training with a low impact. In a study published in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, it was concluded that vibration training could lead to a significant increase in hip bones. Despite the positive research results, it is always advisable to consult doctors before using new exercise equipment, especially if the patient has any basic health.
