What is that one?

Tow is a traditional creamy sauce of garlic of Lebanon. It can be eaten in itself spreading on bread or flat bread or as an accompaniment to almost any food. While this is simple in its ingredients, it requires some time and skills because it is an emulsion.

Traditionally, it was made with mortar and thickness, but nowadays a kitchen robot or a hand blender is often used. It consists of four basic ingredients: garlic, salt, oil and lemon juice. Fresh cloves of garlic are first peeled and sometimes blanched in milk if a slightly less pungent final product is required. Garlic and salt are then crushed into a paste. This is done slowly to prevent the mixture from being distributed and the ingredients are then mixed carefully. The final product should be light and creamy and cbub chilled for weeks. This is best served at room temperature.

Hummus is made of alternative peas, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and tahini, while tahini is a sesame seed paste, which often mixes with garlic, lemon juice and olive oil. Baba Ghanoush is made of plants of eggs, lemon, garlic, tahini and spices such as peppers and cumin.

They usually include cold and hot meals and incorporate meat such as kebabs, most often and vegetables. Usually the food is consumed with hands.
