What Is a Perception Check?
If the perception is normal, a reflective blinking motion must occur immediately after touching the cornea. If the reflection is dull, it means that there is a decrease in consciousness, and if the consciousness completely disappears, there is no performance after touch. Both eyes should be tested the same for easy comparison and judgment.
- The corneal perception test is used to check whether the cornea feels normal. If keratitis or ulcers are found without significant irritation symptoms, a corneal sensation test should be performed to determine whether the trigeminal nerve has inorganic energy reduction or paralysis symptoms.
