What is Codependency?

Interdependence theory refers to the theory that international relations are in an era of interdependence. Its main contents are as follows: (1) Interdependence is the interaction between various countries and various factors in different countries. The magnitude of its effect depends on the restrictions on communication and the cost of communication. It is measured by the interests and costs of all parties. (2) Interdependence does not mean that equal amounts of interests are involved, including both equal and mutually beneficial interdependence and unequal interdependence. (3) Interdependence is a process, not an end. Interdependent countermeasures are formed through mechanisms such as economic activity or production balance. (4) The theory of interdependence, while recognizing that the country is still the subject of international relations, also believes that there are many channels for non-governmental cross-border contacts, and the contacts are diversified, and the contradictions and conflicts in the contacts with diverse characteristics cannot be handled by military factors alone. . (5) The rapid development of science and technology and the rapid advance of the economy, the isolated regions and countries in the world no longer exist. Interdependence and connection in international relations are major issues of global and overall nature, which constitute new characteristics of the changes in modern international relations. [1]
