What are the properties of the ectomorphic body?
A person who is naturally thin is considered an ectomorphic body. These types of people are genetically susceptible to have this type of body and are usually thin throughout their lives. They do not have to follow any specific diet or exercise regime to maintain a thin figure.
Ectomorphic body is the result of extremely fast metabolism. Ectomorphs can generally eat what they want whenever they feel, and not gain any weight. This does not necessarily mean that they are healthier than those with other types of body, because they can eat unhealthy food and get minimal exercises because they will not see the apparent negative result of weight gain. Because their bodies burn calories so quickly, people with this type of body who want to gain weight must significantly increase their caloric intake. Perhaps they will have to eat frequent, highly caloric foods and maybe also include dietary supplements.
TI with ectomorphic body usually have difficulty building muscle matter. Their muscles tend to be small and light. Although they do not have to cTo maintain low body weight, they often have to work very hard to develop strong muscles. This puts them in the disadvantage if they are interested in a competition in sports where there is a key force. These ectomorphs, which are interested in building their muscles, should focus on strength training with weights as well as increase protein in their diet.
Due to their slender figure, ectomorphs may seem rather fine. They often have light bones and small joints. Their frames are usually narrow, with thin shoulders, chests and hips. Combined with their limited musculature, this causes a body that can be somewhat fragile. Ectomorphs may be at greater risk of injury than other body types.
Ectomorphic people can often seem higher than they are really because of their character. Many times their limbs are very long in relation to the rest of their bodies. If it is associated with very narrowM, direct overall shape, the illusion of extra height creates.
Another characteristic of the ectomorph body is sensitivity to extreme temperatures. Their lack of muscle mass and minimal body fat may be more susceptible to high heat or intense cold. The ectomorphic body may have difficulty regulating its temperature in these situations.
