What is a cow?

Cow, also known as Bitilasana, is a simple yoga move used to improve flexibility in the back, shoulders and neck. This particular step is often taken at the beginning of the yoga session to prepare the body for more difficult movements. The position of a cow is sometimes associated with a cat position called Bidalasana. When this is the case, it is referred to as a cat pose.
