What is Damson Plum?
Damson Plum is the fruit of the Damson tree, which is indigenous to the Central East and Eastern Europe, but is also grown in Western Europe, Great Britain and the USA. From there, the cultivation of Damson trees spread to ancient Rome. The Romans subsequently introduced the UK tree and British colonists brought him to America. These trees grow to a height of about 15 feet (4.57 m) and are generally quite resistant to the disease. In the spring they produce small white flowers and at the beginning of autumn.
