What is the main entry?

The main entrance is basically the same as the main course served at dinner or during another big meal with several courses. However, the term “entry” can apply either to the main meal or to the food that precedes the main bowl, depending on whether the speaker uses American English, British English or French. Inputs meant the main meal in American English because of centuries of developing food trends. The main appetizers originally consisted of meat, but modern offers can also include salads and other meatless possibilities.

The term "entrée" came in France around 1555. It came from the term "entry" and entrée was served with a large fanfare at the very beginning of food with many courses. In the following century, however, the order of extravagant French food changed. After soup and Hors d'Euvres, entrée, food usually consisting of hot beef, pork or lamb -headed or final course is served.

English use of the term "VSTUP "dates back to the end of the 1950s.
