What is the Romanian deadlift?

Romanian deadlift is a type of weightlifting that primarily strengthens the muscles of the foot, especially hamstrings. It is carried out with a barbel that has a considerable amount of weight attached to it, and if possible, it should be done with an observer standing. Since the Romanian deadlift requires a large amount of weight to be placed on the barbell, it is a good idea to use the Olympic weight for advanced jacks, as these settings are designed for higher weights than standard stripes and weight. Beginners should start with less weight, so a standard rod and weight should suffice.

The initial position for the Romanian deadlift is achieved by lifting weight from the ground and standing legs with a shoulder width apart. The palms of the hand should be facing inwards to the body and the arms should be straight without bending on the elbows. The shoulders should be straight and not shift forward and my back should we weigh in a neutral position. Once this position is reached, the Romanian movement of the dead elevator begins with bending on the sides, attachEmj keeps his back straight. The jack will actively pull the hips backwards, allowing hamstrings to carry great weight.

The jack reduces the weight until the dumbbell is reached around the center of the shin, then briefly retains the position. Another design of the Romanian deadlift will have a jack slowly, which slowly returns to the starting position, where it will have this position for a moment. Movement should be made slowly and intentionally to ensure that the muscles gain the greatest advantage of movement. Several repetitions of movement should be done and every time the jack has to hold the initial and middle position. Once several repetitions have been completed, the jack should rest thirty seconds to a minute to try to repetition of deadlift.

This exercise can be harmful to people with lower back problems, so it should be prevented or only under professional guidance. During this exercise may be necessarynot wrap the wrist for added stability; Some specially designed wrists are available and can be useful to prevent injury when performing a Romanian deadlift. If necessary, this exercise can be performed with weights based on an increased platform, making it easier and safer initial settings to the starting position.
