What is the turnip?

Turn is an edible tuber, formally known as brassica rap and widely cultivated all over the world for food. White to yellow roots are edible and are well stored and green can be eaten as spinach or grazing like a cover crop with livestock. In addition to being easily accessible in many foods, turnouts are also very easy to grow because they are resistant to frost and drought. Historically, the turnip served as a vital source of food in northern countries because they maintain themselves in winter and provide a valuable form of plant nutrition. It seems that the origin of Třínin lies in Asia, although it was brought west many centuries ago. The turnups were cultivated in ancient Greece and Rome and have also spread to northern Europe. Because the climate of northern Europe is much harder, turnouts have become a popular crop due to the heir ttboyment.

The turnip is cooked, fried, baked, mashed and sometimes consumed synroma, depending on personal taste. Young turnouts are juicy and tastier and are preferred if consumers can get them. As turnup turns old and larger, they become wooden. This will also happen after a long storage period. Like other root vegetables, turnouts keep very well in a cold, dark root cellar, although they can also be stored under cooling for a shorter time, usually about two weeks.

In addition to being a useful part of human diet, turnip was historically used as an animal feed source. Animal herds can be burned by a green field almost all year round, because several batch of turnip can be planted for different harvest time. Vegetables are an excellent source of vitamins K, A and C, along with folate, manganese, calcium and copper.

For growing turnout, seeds can be planted directly into the ground and well connected. Once the young turnouts begin to grow, they can be thinned regularly to allow enough space for the tubers. In 45 to 60 days, turnouts can be harvested and inserted into KOMen storage, consumption or canned in cans or wetting containers. The smaller the turnip, the tastier, the so many gardeners prefer the tunnel harvests and regularly set seeds to maintain a stable supply of crop.
