What is an egg piercer?
Piercer eggs is a kitchen tool that is used to interrupt a small opening in the egg shell to prevent the shell from cracking and the egg yolk turned green during cooking. This tool is usually a sharp steel pin, which is located inside the base and which protrudes only when it presses the eggs on it. An egg piercer can also be used to prepare egg shells for crafts. Piercer eggs can come in different shapes, sizes and colors to fit any kitchen decoration. Most piercers are not much larger than the eggs themselves and are small enough to fit into the storage socket. They can be made of stainless steel or plastic and some are even shaped as boiled eggs. Some people simply use a push pin to pierce the egg shell.
The air inside the egg expands as it heats up during boiling, and this can cause the shell to burst. Having a small hole at the big end of the egg allows air leaks gradually, which prevents crackingpky. All eggs have an air pocket at a larger end. When we pierce the egg shell, the pin should go deep enough to pierce the shell where there is an air pocket, but not deep enough to pierce the inner membrane. If the inner membrane is punctured, the interior of the egg will come out during cooking.
Green ring, which forms a hard -boiled egg yolk, comes from sulfur. When sulfur cannot escape the egg shell, the yolk changes green. When eggs are used to create a small hole in the egg shell, sulfur can escape and the yolk does not get rid of green.
Some people enjoy decorating empty shells eggs. This fine vessel requires removal if the guts of the egg without breaking the shell. Piercer is a perfect job. Two holes are needed, one at each end of the egg. Crafter can carefully throw the interior of the egg through the hole for the piercer eggs blows into the larger end of the egg.
