What is feta soup?
Some traditional Greece soups include feta as a relatively prominent ingredient. Chicken feta soup is based on chicken, with tomatoes, spinach and then feta added when the chicken almost cooks. The soup ends with oregano, lemon juice and pasta, which are cooked until al dente , then served. Feta adds salty and sour touch to this bowl.
Another Greek classic begins and ends even easier. After a mixture of chopped garlic, celery and onions were caramelized in butter, vegetables or chicken, white wine, potatoes and a small nutmeg and then bring to a boil. AsIle is almost fine potatoes, sliced spinach goes inside with cream. Many chefs for this mixture as soon as all ingredients are uniform sizes, and then add a small worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, pine nuts and feta. Feta melts into the soup to provide small pockets of added land, but it is another dairy that makes this soup creamy.
Most soups that benefit from adding cheese can be decorated or even made using a feta. As already illustrated, they can resemble traditional favorite or accept their own lives. Some other tested and real complex combinations are cold Gespacho Feta soups: one with cucumber, mint, cress and feta and others with melon, mint, lemon juice, feta, wine and ginger.
