What is L-Valin?

L-valine, or valin, is a proteinogenic amino acid used by the body in the synthesis of protein. It is one of the amino acids with a branched chain (BCAA) responsible for repairing and strengthening muscle tissues. Being essential amino acid must be obtained from diet or supplements.
