What is nougat?
Nougat is a type of confectionery made of sugar, honey and nuts. It is popular throughout Europe, where it was probably created, and in Australia, along with parts of Asia. In the United States, the Nougat series is often used as a filling for candies and sweets. This type, although the root is in the European version, is usually made slightly differently. The word is French and comes from Latin nux for "walnut".
The most basic Nugat includes basic ingredients and may also include dried fruit. It can be administered separately as a separate confectionery, as popular in Italy, or can be covered with chocolate or used as candy. Nougat is particularly popular during the holiday season and many hosts have a guest plate or gives out small packed sweet packages. Nougat is chewing, rich and intensely sweet. Two primary variations are white and brown.u. In Australia, mixed walnut nougat are popular in hard and soft consistencies, and Asian nations are assigned uniquely flavored delicacies.
