What is powder buttermilk?

The use of powder instead of liquid buttermilk does not change the consistency or texture of roasted good or noticeably affects the taste. The evaporation process concentrates buttermilk. After the liquid evaporates, the remaining buttermilk is dried into the powder mold using a cylinder or a spray dryer.
