What is Siva yoga?

Siva Yoga is a shortened name of the traditional type of yoga practice called Sivananda Yoga. Most types of yoga focus on the aspect of exercise of this practice, but Siva Yoga is used as an overall healthy and balanced lifestyle. This type of lifestyle focuses on exercise, meditation and breathing technology, as well as spiritual studies and nutrition.

Yoga is an ancient Hindu practice that focuses on control of the body and mind. Over the centuries, yogic techniques have been accepted by other religions and cultures. In many cases, yoga has been transformed into a type of exercise, and many practices used practice as a type of exercise and nothing more. However, yoga is known for providing increased energy, relaxation and improved physical strength.

Exercise is the core of Siva yoga practice and is considered to be the natural state of the overall being. Unlike the western forms of high intensity exercises, these attitudes are challenging, but should balance the body and improve the mental function. Muscle mass and flexibility are gained PRavidal practice, especially during stable positions called Asanas . Some types of asanas include backbone twists, shoulder stand and plow.

Breathing techniques and relaxation methods are another integral part of siva yoga. It is believed that proper breathing improves lung function and distributes oxygen throughout the body to prevent disease and discomfort. The abdominal breathing is defended as the best type, because the lungs are taken more oxygen. Breathing is also an integral part of relaxation that practicing yoga uses as a method to alleviate stress and improve mental and physical function.

Proper breathing is mistakenly considered meditation by some people. Meditation in itself is a method used in Buddhism, which brings a person of clarity and disadvantages of his place in the world. Although deep, concentrated breathing is an important tool, meditation and breathing techniques are not the same.Meditation is often considered to be the most important part of SIVA yoga because it can lead to enlightenment and encourage positive thinking.

Some people who practice yoga do not follow a specific nutritional plan, but individuals watching Siva yoga follow a specific lacto-vegetarian food. This diet discourages meat food, but allows dairy products as a source of protein and calcium. Siva Yoga is more interested in the effect of food on the mind and a human being, rather than achieving a perfect weight or strict vegetarianism. Organic and fresh foods are also supported in this type of eating plan.
