What is the President's challenge?
The President's challenge is a physical fitness program aimed at promoting healthy exercise habits for people in the United States. Most Americans are familiar with the president's challenge from the school where students are encouraged if you do not have to participate in this physical fitness program during the gym classes. There are also aspects of the President's call related to adults, and many programs can be adapted to people of any age or physical abilities. It is important to realize that even though there are valuations in this program, the aim is to support activity overall, so that the program usually guarantees the price.
The presidential challenge, which was administered by the Presidential Council for Physical Fitiness and Sports, is a national program that attempts to improve the health of Americans by supporting physical activity. It is assuming that being more active, including simply walking or horticulture, the HCE of this program is the positive effects on human health and athave people to move and outdoors. It is questionable whether light activity is as beneficial as athletic performances, but at least this program promotes awareness of the need to perform people to remain healthy.
In some cases, the President's challenge is organized as a number of five tests for which the participants practice. Different levels of success in these five tests are associated with different prices, but simply participating in the price. The five activities in which students are tested include sit-up, sit and achieve, pull-up, shuttle and 1 mile (1.6 km) run. Alternatives to these activities are usually acceptable for students with disabilities or for those who are at a very low level of health.
For adults, prices are usually awarded for maintaining daily activities rather in tests. The activity itself may be explicitly associated with sport or can simply include an activo. The use of the pedometer and counting steps is often considered an acceptable alternative to measure the levels of participation in terms of time. As part of the presidential challenge, an adult test is offered, but this test is usually used for diagnostic purposes.
One of the advantages of the President's challenge for instructors is that the program is well supported and has existed for a long time. The program is online support for both instructors and individuals. This allows participants to document progress and visibly see the improvement of health over time. In addition to online support, there are also traditional printed materials and educational programs. Students and adults can earn certificates as rewards for participating in this program, but there is also a wide range of goods that can be used as rewards.
