What is USZka?

uszkakka is a Polish dumpling, which is usually filled with minced meat, cabbage or mushrooms. It is often served alone, but is often accompanied by Ukrainian soup called Borscht. While food came from Poland, it is a common meal in several Eastern European countries, especially in Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine. It is particularly popular as a traditional food served in Christmas in these countries. They are made of folded squares of the dough to which the filling is added. The finished product looks similar to the Chinese Wonton or Italian tortellini. The basic filling consists of onions, butter, crumbs of bread and eggs.
