What is protein metabolism?

Protein metabolism is a description of the physical and chemical processes that cause both the building or the synthesis of amino acids into proteins and the disintegration or catabolism of proteins into amino acids. The amino acids are circulated with blood and enter into body tissues where they are synthesized back to the protein. The balance between protein synthesis and catabolism is essential to maintain the normal functioning of cells. Amino acid synthesis is necessary to create other basic compounds in the body, such as histamine, neurotransmitters and nucleotide components. Any amino acids that are left after synthesis after synthesis are either stored as fat or converted into energy.

amino acids can be classified as necessary and irrelevant. Essential amino acids cannot be created by the body, but are necessary for protein metabolism. These amino acids must be obtained from food. Non -essential amino acids are required for normal cell functioning and can be synthesized from other amino acids in the body. Once they are gettingThe correct amino acids, combined and provide proteins that can use body tissues. It constantly monitors and responds to the needs of the body protein. The liver is also responsible for the processing and excretion of waste products that are produced as a by -product of protein metabolism.

Some people feel that consuming a high protein diet will help them lose weight faster and maintain muscle mass. The truth is that most people consume too much protein and find unnecessary tension. The body transforms excess protein into fat, as with carbohydrates and fat in the diet. Excess protein in the diet is also caused by more metabolism of proteins produced by waste products that must be destroyed.

Since the proteins ingested will disintegrate and re -assembled before use in different parts of the body, consumption of foods containing certain amino acidsIt does not necessarily mean that the body uses this aminoseline in the form that the individual intends. For example, some people try to add certain types of proteins who hope to benefit from their health effects. It does not work as one intends to, because the body controls protein metabolism by breaking proteins and re -assembling them with other amino acids to best satisfy the needs of the body.
