What are crepe pancakes?

Crep pancakes are extremely thin wheels of cooked dough, which came from the northwestern region of France, where they were once among agricultural workers. They can be eaten simple or folded around sweet or salty ingredients. Preparing crepe pancakes involves mixing simple dough and then cooking a thin layer of this dough on a hot surface. Since its invention, crepe pancakes have gained popularity as a street food and restaurant food in Europe and North America.

The Brittany area, located in the northwest part of France, is generally attributed to the invention of crepe pancakes. Here, these pancakes were once a dietary foundation between the working class, mainly because they could be prepared quickly and cheaply. Unlike pancakes known to many modern guests, however, the original Pancakes of Brittany were not made of refined white flour, but rather more affordable flour after the fairy tale. To the beginning of the 21st century, crepe Pancakes, which are made of buckwheat flour, are generally calledAji Galeta. Furthermore, the crepe pancake has a generally neutral taste, which means that it is well paired with sweet and spicy fillings. Common sweet crepe fillings include the spread of hazelnuts, bananas, jam, powder sugar and ice cream. Spicy pancakes are often full of cheeses, ham, eggs, mushrooms or mixtures.

Those who wish to prepare crepe pancakes at home can do this by preparing a simple, thin dough of flour, egg, milk and salt. The small amount of this dough is poured onto a preheated pan and then expands quickly to a circular shape either by tilting the pelvis or using a spatula. The pancake is cooked after 30 seconds for one minute and then turned. Furthermore, its surface is layered by the required fillings. It is then leaning from the pan to the cutting plate and finally folded into the neighborhood.

Since the beginning of the 21st century, crepe pancakes are popular in Europe and North America as fast food, dessert or DOkonce complete food. Street sellers all over France and many other European countries sell sweet and salty pancakes from trolleys or small mobile kitchens. In North America, these pancakes are commonly filled with fruit canned food and are served as a breakfast item.
