What is Caldo de Pollo?
Mexican version of chicken soup, caldo de pollo is slightly spicy and westernized. This soup, which literally translates as a "chicken", is built of chicken bones to a distinctive mixture of Mexican spices such as chilli powder, coriander and pepper. Along with these clamps, there are many other common soup ingredients such as rice, potatoes and chopped vegetables such as cabbage, carrots and onions.
Regular comfort meal for cold or under the weather, Caldo de pollo is also considered to be a cocoon remedy.
