What is spinning?
Spinning is a type of aerobic exercise performed by cycling inside on a stationary "rotating" bike. Most gyms offer this type of internal cycling either separately or as a class, and are very popular. Most classes are structured similarly in every gym.
The instructor will sit on a stationary round in front of the room and face rooms full of people on their own stationary bike. The lights are often turned relatively low in the room and will often play loud music to help motivate exercisers. The class begins the heating period, followed by a 30 to 45 -minute class and a cooling period.
During the actual classes of spinning, the instructor provokes visualization for students. For example, he could say that they were traveling uphill and should stand on the wheels and push harder. The purpose of the instructor is to motivate students to increase their level of activity and change their pace on the bike, increasing their heart rate and gaining the most aerobic benefits. Students of all SCHOpnosts and levels of fitness can participate in this type of exercise class.
In rotation, students are able to set the level of resistance on their wheels themselves. This is beneficial if the student finds that pedaling at a certain level is too demanding. It also allows students to relax unless they are naturally in favor of pushing their athletic ability to its limits. The use of a stationary round in the class is an excellent way to burn calories in an activity that does not require a large coordination.
Spinning is a great complement to a diverse training routine. However, this type of indoor cycling class should not be the only source of exercise, as a relatively limited number of muscle groups works and can lead to muscle imbalance. It is important to perform other aerobic activities such as brisk walking, jogging or swimming, along with solid activities such as weightlifting to ensure that the whole body will be trained.
In addition to the exercise bike, the only equipment is necessary for spinning a bottle of water, comfortable sneakers of hard bushings, a towel for shocks and exercise clothing that fits well. One of the advantages is that the helmet is not necessary. It may be a good idea to try an indoor cycling class before logging in to the package; If it is not good or has sufficient self -motivation, it is possible to obtain the same exercise independently of a stationary bike in the gym or ride outdoors.
