Yoga Booty Balllet® is a popular fitness program composed of a mixture of yoga, sculpture, meditation and dance. The program is to create Gillian Clark and Teigh McDonough. The idea initially came to Clark in the form of a dream in 1998. She collaborated with McDonough on the release of the program on the video. They merged Kundalini and Hatha Yoga, Cardio Dance and Ballet to create a fitness program that would help women achieve weight loss. Today, millions of people have either performed in the studio, or they bought DVDs and videos to watch the program at home.
Cardio dance parts of the program improve cardiovascular endurance and help people lose weight. Its ballet sections improve the strength and density of muscle and bones. Finally, yoga segment yoga prey Ballet® helps increase human flexibility and balance.
Clark and McDonough have a background in the fitness industry. Clark began her career as a certified instructor and personal coach in 1987. Since 1998 she has practiced Kundalini Yoga since 1989 and Anusar Yoga. In 2002 she startedstudy Kriya Yoga.
McDonough worked as a teacher of fitness, personal coach, actress, professional dancer, choreographer and director of movement. It has a background in different styles of dance, including jazz, ballet, modern, hip-hop, theaters and funk. McDonough is a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer.
Duo owns the SWERVE® studio, where they provide a number of fitness classes in Los Angeles, California.
