What is Pilsner?

Pilsner is a type of pale lager, which is usually recognized by using noble hops in cooking and also using fermentation and cold room. This type of beer is named around the city in which it was invented, a bohemian city named Pilsen, now called Plzn and is located in the Czech Republic. The name usually refers to a lager that is light yellow or golden color and which often has a more subdued and accessible taste. Pilsner from Germany will often be a bit bitter taste, while Czech pilsners have a lighter taste and some Belgian and Dutch varieties have a relatively sweet taste.

before and during and during the 40th century, which became a Czech Republic-cooked with belief with faith with faith in the fair fairy. There was so much dissatisfaction and recorded outrage of poor quality that the Pilsen city council ordered a number of Beehm barrels to be publicly thrown out for protest. In 1839, the city officials decided to establish their own publicly held brewing company to create a new, better qualitybeer.

This company, originally named Bürger Brauerei , closed the Bavarian brewery named Josef Groll to create his new beer. Groll used noble hops, a type of European hops with more aromatic properties and used new techniques to use a fermentation method that would create a clearer and more controlled type of lager. He also used German cooling storage techniques by allowing to ferment beer and brew in the barrels that were located inside the cold caves. The final result was first delivered on November 11, 1842 and was an immediate success. They called the beer Pilsner to indicate where it came from, and later registered the name Pilsner Urquell , which means the "original Pilsner" in German.

Today, the name Pilsner has joined with a wide range of various lagers, although Pilsner Urquell is still cooked, bottled and made available around the world. NOBLE CHEML is usually used in most European pilsners, although American breweries may not always use these traditional hops for Pilsners brewing. Many American breweries use the name "Pilsner" to indicate a higher level of quality, although they are still usually slightly gold or amber colors with lighter taste than heavier beers.
